ABM Engineering Services is Authorised Training Center for providing Certified Training Programs in Worknc and Edgecam. ABM has got practical experience of delivering CAD/CAM Training / Courses to students, we know how to convert fresher’s or non-technical students in working professionals. Courses are offered to anyone looking to begin career in CNC Programming in 3D CAM, or to current users with the desire to sharpen their job skills. Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) domains like Design, Mill, Lathe, and Multiaxis and Toolpaths are covered using various modules. At the end of the course, each student receives Authorised Certificate of Completion.

Each student will get the experience of working on 3D CAD CAM software.

(Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to)
  • Create 2D and 3D part geometry using the design module of the Worknc or Edgecam software.
  • Use the Mill module of the Workncsoftware to convert the modeled part geometry into a cutter toolpath for use on a numerically controlled milling machine.
  • Use the lathe module of the Edgecam software to convert the modeled part geometry into a cutter tool path for use on a numerically controlled lathe.
  • Safely operate the laboratory CNC machinery to mill a part model from wood, plastic or metalmaterial.
Course Eligibility:
  1. Students who are undergoing / completed Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering
  2. ITI Mechanical Draftsman
  3. Faculty / Working Professionals or Non - Technical
Course Duration:

2 Months (full time). Monday to Saturday – 5 to 6 hours daily including Classroom Lecture and Lab Practice.

Grade Determination:

The final grade will be determined by your performance in the following areas:

Daily Work (50%):  Worknc or Edgecam tutorials, assignments, drawings, and finished machined parts.  All should be complete and accurate.
Various Projects (25%):  Projects will be given during the semester and graded based on the technique, quality, and efficiency of the program/part.
Manufacturing Simulation Final Project (25%):  During the final 4 weeks of the course the student will be given a shop print in which a CNC program must be produced, proofed, and run on the CNC machine.  Your grade will be based on the quality of the program and part produced just as it would in a “real world” manufacturing environment.
